Exam Result Discussion (ERD) – IGC Unit

150.00 AED

Exam Result Discussion is the process of reviewing, analyzing, and talking about the outcomes of an examination. It has a structured conversation between HSEPro tutor and a learner to go over their exam paper, understand mistakes, and gain feedback.

Purpose:

  • Feedback and Learning: The primary goal is formative assessment. It helps learners understand what they got wrong and, more importantly, why they got it wrong.
  • Clarify Doubts: Learners can ask specific questions about questions they found confusing or challenge marks they feel were deducted unfairly.
  • Identify Patterns: Tutors can identify common mistakes made by the learner, which might indicate a topic that needs to be re-taught.
  • Reduce Anxiety: Transparent discussion can alleviate stress and make the assessment process feel fairer and more constructive.

Who is involved?

  • Learner and HSEPro tutor.

What is discussed?

  • Review of specific answers and the expected ideal response.
  • The grading and how marks were allocated.
  • Common pitfalls and misconceptions.
  • Strategies for improvement on future exams.

How to be conducted?

  • The ERD will be delivered through online Live Virtual discussion with the Learner and HSEPro tutor.
