NEBOSH International General Certificate – Unit IG1 and IG2 Weeknight General Course Description
The NEBOSH International General Certificate – Unit IG1 AND IG2 Weeknight course is intended for aspired Managers, Supervisors, and Workers who wishes to gain high standard skills as well as to become knowledgeable about the key principles of health, safety and environmental management and practices; and, also for any individuals who also has the thrill to navigate some future opportunities in health, safety, and environmental career.
NEBOSH International General Certificate qualification consist of two units – IG1 and IG2 – and you must achieve a “Pass” mark in each unit within five years to be awarded the qualification.
Unit IG1: Management of Health and Safety
- Element 1. Why we should manage workplace health and safety
- Element 2. How health and safety management systems work and what they look like
- Element 3. Managing risk – understanding people and processes
- Element 4. Health and safety monitoring and measuring
- Element 5. Physical and psychological health
Unit IG2: Risk Assessment
- Element 6. Musculoskeletal health
- Element 7. Chemical and biological agents
- Element 8. General workplace issues
- Element 9. Work equipment
- Element 10. Fire
- Element 11. Electricity
NEBOSH International General Certificate – Unit IG1 and IG2 Weeknight Course Entry Requirement
- No entry requirement for this qualification, however it is important to have a basic English language to understand the topics in each syllabus.
Course Delivery
- Live Virtual Training
- It is a real-time learning where Trainer and Learners meet LIVE online at the same time.
- Lessons are conducted LIVE by a qualified Trainer and it also allows Learners to clarify any doubts they have any during the live lesson.
- Live Virtual Training is not an e-Learning, not a webinar, and not a recorded training. Lessons are delivered same way as in traditional classroom training. You can just do the training even if you are at home, no need to travel to training venue.

- Minimum 65 taught hours
- Approximately 40 hours of private study
Certification
- Delegates will be awarded an accredited NEBOSH International General Certificate upon successfully completing this qualification.
Certification Issuance and Validity
- 2 – 3 months after passing the whole qualification – No expiry
